The city non-emergency phone system suffered a hardware failure and is currently down. This is the system for City Hall employees, water department, DPW, etc.
**** PUBLIC SAFETY ****
EMERGENCY/911 IS WORKING – call 911
NON-EMERGENCY (586) 293-1425
**** CITY HALL ****
City Hall Main number (586) 293-3100
Contingency plans are being implemented to provide a few phone lines so that people can contact City Hall.
Due to a limited number of lines, you may receive a busy signal.
Please be patient as city staff and our telephone service provider work through these issues.
If your matter requires immediate attention, I would suggest going to City Hall to address it in person.
More information will be provided as it becomes available.
