Joe Nichols Acts Like An Ass….AGAIN

The Peoples Mayor

We have a real gem here people.

You all recall the “EMERGENCY” meeting last Friday about sharing services with Clinton Township in regards to Parks & Rec?

Meeting went smooth with our neighbors to the north.  As smooth of course as one meeting can get when you have Joe “CALL ME MAYOR” Nichols in attendance.

Here are some emails that flew AFTER the meeting from Mayor Bobble Head and the responses from other people that were also IN THE MEETING.

Mr. O’Neal,

I would appreciate that you restate your policy to employee Christina Woods.

I do not appreciate the verbal attack on myself and direct contact with me displayed this afternoon while meeting in Clinton Twp. by Mrs. Woods.

This is an across the board directive, and should be followed by all.

This was a business meeting and the contact was at this meeting and totally appropriate for both parties to communicate the issues just as Council persons Blanke and Lesich. I did not observe any “verbal attack” by Ms. Woods and would defer to the other council persons in attendance to either confirm or deny this. I do believe that she asked for any solutions that you might have as it related to the Recreation programs or Senior Programs during this fiscal crisis. Wayne.

To all,

Agree with the City Manager’s response relative to this matter. Christina had finished her explanation of the process she would follow
to make sure the children would finish the summer programs. Within her summary she said she would stay and work for no pay, It
was a hard moment for her and within this moment she simply ask if you had any solutions. Personally, she was being polite and it
was clear she wanted to include you into the conversation.I am certain no one else at that table in any way considered a “verbal

To all,

I was in attendance at the of meeting of 6/23/2017, referred to in the original email. I was seated directly to the left of Ms. Woods. She was entirely professional, and the meeting was productive. I look forward to continued dialog between our respective communities in the future, and how we can work together to enhance each other’s service offerings.
To be absolutely clear, at no point did Ms. Christina Woods act in an unprofessional manner or “verbally attack” Mayor of Fraser Joseph Nichols.

During a round-robin discussion, Ms. Woods’ asked Mr. Nichols about his possible solutions to our current dilemma. The question was entirely appropriate, given their respective positions, the topic of conversation, the urgency of the matter, and the gravity of the situation.

Mr. Nichols’ reply went off-topic, at first deflecting all questions to the City Manager. He then started explaining the entire Fraser budget process and his version of the reasons for a divide on council on the current budget matter. It was an out of place monologue in an otherwise professional and productive meeting.

Ms. Woods maintained her composure, and soon after engaged Mr. Nichols in a constructive dialog. The meeting continued.

Ms. Woods has been a consummate professional throughout this particularly difficult time. She is in the process of launching Summer programs for 350 participants, managing 35+ seasonal employees, a recreation center, park rentals, and senior programs, all while planning the immediate elimination of her department, including her own job, while working 60 hour weeks on a 40-hour salary. Somehow she is managing to keep her head held high and her staff motivated.

She is to be commended, not reprimanded.

I’m sure my story can be corroborated by the 11 other people in the room if necessary. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Why Is Robert Cannon Getting Involved In This Mess?

By I.M. Fletcher

Is Robert Cannon going to try and help Joe Nichols in his screwing the city of Fraser?

Bob Cannon has run Clinton Township pretty well for the past 20 some years and for him to get involved at the last hour in a mess of Joe Nichols, Matt Hemelberg and Yvette Fosters doing is damn odd.

With 7 days left to submit a budget to the state Joe and Bob are going to hold a meeting to talk about merging a goverment dept. In 7 days?

Government generally do not move this fast but ok. This does not smack of a political stunt at all trying to make Joe Nichols (who is under a sexual harassment cloud at city hall) look like he is “working” for the people.

Maybe if you had done this back in Oct of 2016…..

Anyway here are the emails. Notice Joe had to ask to move the meeting from city of Fraser being he is not allowed to go into city hall without a chaperone. Part of the agreement of the sexual harassment report while the legal people do their thing behind the scenes.

Good afternoon Elizabeth,

Thank you for reaching out. I personally along with several others having been requesting this opportunity for quite sometime. Unfortunately, this suggestion has not been addressed until now. I agree with Mr.Cannons comments & I do believe this could be an option that both communities could benefit from. As you have heard, Fraser is suffering difficulties & all options must be explored in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I cannot attend a meeting tomorrow if one takes place but would be more than happy to in the near future. I thank you again & hope our City Manager will be willing to explore this. I look forward to see where this goes.

Have a wonderful day,

Hello Wayne et al:

Yes I received your messages and I appreciated our nice phone chat. We’ve agreed to meet tomorrow at 1:30pm at Fraser City Hall in your conference room. For elected officials, Bob Cannon and Trustee Mike Keys are attending with a few key staff. I’ll volunteer to take meeting minutes.

I’ll send out a 2nd email in the morning on a fresh email chain to confirm all participants from the Township. Hopefully by then you’ll also have a firm list of who is attending from your council and staff.

Thanks for a candid phone call, I realize we caught you off guard during a stressful time, but that is actually how the idea came about. We are confident that we can come up with some creative ideas that will benefit residents of all ages in both communities.

Dear Wayne,

Please know that I plan to attend this meeting at 1:30 pm – just want to make sure there are no
more than 3 Councilpersons present. It is my intent to offer my experience and knowledge of a
venture such as this. Will tell you up front this is not a good thing for Fraser.

Thank you.

Kathy: nice to meet you by email! It appears Mayor Joe, yourself and Councilman Lesich are the three parties who will attend? I’ll leave this to your city manager to confirm. On our end, I’ll make sure no more than 3 trustees attend (for the same reasons). At this time we have 2 coming.

I look forward to meeting you tomorrow!

Yup. Your tax dollars in inaction with Joe, Matt and Yvette.

The spin continues and now Clinton Township is involved. Amazing.

Citizen Complaint Filed Against Joe Nichols

Ahhhh Joe Nichols. He is a peach.

Last year during ANOTHER budget debacle he confronted a citizen in the hallway outside council chambers. She was disturbed enough by this encounter she filed a police complaint.

Here it is…………..

Really. He is a classy guy this one.

Fraser, have you had enough yet?

Joe Nichols And “Faking It”

By I.M. Fletcher

Joe knows about “Faking It. Pretty much every time he opens his mouth on “caring” for the city.

From The Joe Nichols Pinterest Collection

Some people find it hard to believe that Joe Nichols and his buddy Matt would possibly Sexually Harass anyone

I’m sure the picture above and these from a earlier post on Joe Nichols Pinterest page were not a indicator of problems of treating women as just sex objects.

Who could have seen this coming?

A Beautiful Day After A Sexual Harassment Meeting

By Mr Tocco.

After last nights disgusting Special Meeting in Fraser where every media outlet in Detroit was here.

WDIV Local 4

Fox 2

CBS Local

WXYZ Channel 7

Macomb Daily

Joe thinks it is ok to taunt those who accused him of sexual harassment this morning. How incredibly ugly.

No matter how hard he tries to spin this we know that he is more than capable of doing something like this. We have seen how he treats women and of course his co-hort in crime Matt.

Enjoy your day boys

Profiles In Service ……Chad Anthony

By The Peoples Mayor, T. LaDuke

The disastrous vote taken on Thursday June 8th 2017 by the Fraser City Council to cut 2.2 million dollars from the general budget ( Joe Nichols, Matt Hemelberg, Yvette Foster voted to NOT fund the budget they approved in May) will have dire consequences for the citizens of Fraser.

This will also impact some of the quality people the city has working for it. I will be posting some of these peoples stories. Those citizens that have benefited from the current level of service Fraser offers and those that work for us.

I hope you take a moment to read these and get involved in the direction your city is being dragged too.

My first profile is Fraser Public Safety Officer Chad Anthony.

I left the City of Grosse Pointe (a department with no financial hardships and a 100% funded pension)as a PSO to work in Fraser due to competitive pay, advancement opportunities (DB, DARE, SIU, etc) and most importantly the people.

While in the academy I did I a ride along with PSO King and knew that this is where I wanted to be.

Being born and raised in Macomb County, I wanted to serve those same people and came to a community that had the same feel as the type of people I came from.

Hard working blue collar middle class Americans.

I took out student loans and put myself through the fire academy while working as a security guard on nights and weekends. After I graduated the fire academy I paid my way through the police academy while again working nights and weekends.

Once I found myself at my dream department, I knew, or at least hoped that I would dedicate the next 25 years of my life to Fraser. Once I was established at Fraser, my wife and I decided it was time for us to start the next chapter in our lives. We decided to start a family. To our surprise our wish came true two fold. We are currently expecting identical twin boys any day now.

We rely on my benefits, pay, and healthcare to support our family. Our boys will be here any day and we are both terrified of what lies ahead. My job with Fraser was a determining factor in us starting our family.

I’m not just losing a job, I’m losing my family.

FDPS is my family.

And this hurts like hell.
